“The Soaring Eagles” quarterly newspaper is produced by Grade 6-8 students in an Encore Class in journalism, led by Librarian/Editor Dori (Bergman) Scara. The newspaper shares student-written short articles, commentaries, event reviews and more with the school community. Students are encouraged to practice different styles of writing and creative presentation of information. Class assignments provide an opportunity for students to sharpen their editing and interviewing skills and learn photography.
